#31 THE SABBATH
If your birthday happens to fall on the 10th of July, you can celebrate it on the 9th or on the 14th, if you like. You can invite your friends over, have the music blaring, cake, balloons, streamers, fireworks and presents—but it will never really be a true birthday celebration unless you do it all on your birthday. God created the world in six days and then He decided to create an extra day, the seventh day. God set it aside as special and totally different from the other days; He called it a day of rest. Ever since, He’s set aside the seventh day of every week as His special day to spend with us.
