You can’t see the wind, but you can see its effects—the leaves of the trees move, the clouds float by, the waves of the sea continue to roll in. You can’t see electricity, but you can see its effects—the light illuminates, the stove becomes hot, the car starts. Likewise, you can’t see the Holy Spirit, but you can see His effects—a heart is softened, a temper subdued, a life transformed.

The Holy Spirit isn’t something that has just popped up recently. He’s been around as long as God the Father and Jesus. He had His part to play in the creation.
